                    The term e-business and e-commerce is often seen and used for the same process. However, though related, they both have different meanings. The prefix "e" means "electronic", which means that the activities or transactions that are used without the exchange or physical contact. Transactions conducted electronically or digitally, something made possible by the rapid development of digital communication.

E-business is the activities to establish relationships with customers or clients, exchanging data in one enterprise, the business that is done automatically utilizing technology such as computers and the Internet.

E-commerce is the process of sale, purchase or replacement of products, services and information using Internet network.

The fundamental difference between e-commerce and e-business is that the purpose of e-commerce is really money oriented (oriented to the acquisition of money), while e-business oriented to the long-term interests which are abstract such as consumer confidence, customer services , work rules, relationships between business partners, and the handling of other social problems.

In addition to the differences as mentioned e-commerce and e-business also have the primary purpose of promoting the company into a bigger company than before. E-commerce and e-business is a breakthrough that can boost sales through online marketing and as a means of promoting products through the Internet.
